Lost/Found Pets

If you have lost a pet, we encourage you to post flyers in local businesses and newspapers as soon as possible. You may also visit the facility during our open hours to check for your lost pet. if you do not find your pet at the building, we also encourage you to fill out a Lost/Found form and give us a copy of a picture of your pet if possible. If anyone calls giving us a description of an animal that matches your description, we will immediately give them your contact information and notify you that someone may have located your pet.

If you positively identify your lost pet at the facility, you will be required to provide proof that your pet has received a rabies vaccine. You may ask your vet to fax the information to us at 738-7079. HCACF must receive the proof of rabies vaccination or have us vaccinate your pet before you are able to take your pet home.
